An action plan is a series of steps taken that move you to or toward your goal. If you have never had the goal that
you can have now, you may not know what steps to take. First, find people who have reached the goal that you are after
and study what they did to get there. If you study resumes and bios of several successful recording artists, you will discover
similarities among them all. You’ll also discover that each did not do exactly the same thing(s) as the others.
When you have completed your research
and not until, try doing a “backwards plan”. The last step would be the completed goal. What happened last before
that and before that, etc.
Here
is a very simple example of a “backwards plan”:
The nail is driven into the hole.
The nail is hit again.
The nail is hit again.
The nail is struck the first time.
The nail is held in place, and the hammer is pulled back.
The nail is placed in the spot.
The nail is picked up from its
container.
The
hammer is picked up and held by the dominant hand.
Any steps left off? Leave space to fill them in. This is just a very brief idea to get you started. Give
this a try! I can help with a complete action plan.
